ABOUT MASAYA

I-Geography Information

Masaya is near Managua, just 35 minutes away from the capital city. The airport is 30 minutes   from Masaya and the "Panamerican Highway”   goes across the city.

 II-Masaya Chrurch of Christ History

1.       The Church of Christ arrived to the Masaya city in 1976. After meeting in different places, the church members bought a poperty in the city center, where it exists until today.Then in 1998 a new congregation was established in  the north of the city

2.        Both churches exist today and are known as Central Church of Christ  (150 members) and Sacuanjoche Church of Christ (95 members), this means that there are about 300 christians in Masaya serving the Lord and the Community.

Masaya is the Capital of Nicaraguan Folklore

II-Goals of the project

Preach the gospel to all people  in the city, and to reach a membership of 5000 by the year 2030.

A missionary church that evangelizes everyone around it, a church that helps and educates society.

Ø  A church that helps and Supports a Children s Home

Ø A church that supports  a Nutrition Program

Ø  A church that helps

ØA church that helps and supports a Nursing Home

ØA church that helps to others Churches!

 “We have the following buildings: Church, Schools, Health Care Center, Bookstore and Cafeteria.” 

The school provides Christian education and secular training, for the poor children of the church,  the community and the Orphanage, through an acade- mic scholarship. The school   will obtain some funds from students who pay a tuition for their education which will be transferred to the orphanage

The bookstore that appears in this first graphic, will sell Bibles, Christian books and secular material, and the profits will go to the Health Care Center.

This is  a  joined  effort   of the Church  of  Christ  in Masaya. Your  support  contributes  to  develop   self-sustainable  leadership  in  the church and  Social Programs in the Community
